Ben Kennedy is taking on his first leadership role within NASCAR.
Kennedy, great-grandson of NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. and the son of International Speedway Corporation CEO and vice chairperson Lesa France Kennedy, has been named the general manager of the Camping World Truck Series. The former Truck Series driver will oversee the series while working closely with managing director Brad Moran and Jeff Wohlschlaeger, managing director, series marketing.
“Ben will draw upon his years of experience across NASCAR’s grassroots and national series to bring valuable commercial and competition insight to our NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said NASCAR president Brent Dewar. “With promising young drivers and experienced veterans battling it out in close, side-by-side racing, Ben truly understands from experience that every.
